Bangkok's Cabbage and Condoms

I was in Bangkok earlier this week for a work-related seminar. Someone suggested that we went to this restaurant called Cabbage and Condoms. I thought it was a very strange name for a restaurant and could have easily mistaken it for one of those sleazy bars which Bangkok is famous for. But we were assured that it's none of those and in fact, the very purpose of its existence is to counter the risk and danger of unprotected sex and to educate people about AIDS.

We ordered a mixture of fusion and authentic Thai cuisine... it was very nice and HOT! Even though it is slightly more expensive than your usual Thai restaurants, I don't mind paying a little bit more to help with their fight against the many social ills that comes with a rampant (albeit illegal) sex industry in Thailand.

But what impressed me the most is the details the owners of this establishment went to in decorating the premises. Just look at the photos above and you'll know what I mean. Impressive, eh? especially the last picture.... now how do you fit into that thing? gosh!...
