Passionate about watercolours and arts in general, this on-line journal is my attempt to keep track with what I've been up to in my wet and washy world of watercolours and some of my life experiences.
Well, let's see... I've been drawing and painting all my life but I only started painting in watercolour seriously in 2002 and I've never looked back since... Born and grew up in Kuching, Sarawak, I arrived in Singapore in 1998 in search of a job... and have been stuck in this island nation ever since, got married in 2002 and I now have two lovely kids - Javier & Vanessa

Great slideshows! The painting of Kuching Waterfront (sarawak river) looks so clean :o) Cleaner than the original sights.
Do you normally sit there and paint or do you snap a couple of photos and paint them elsewhere?

Thanks! LOL about Kuching Waterfront being cleaner than it actually is, that's when we artist have the license to "beautify" certain things... haha!
Well, I do both actually. Painting outdoor or "plein air painting" as it's called, is so much fun!
But I'm always tied up with work or family commitments, so I hardly go out for painting nowadays and have to resort to painting from photos.

Are you teaching full time now? Were you in auditing before this? Somehow, I've the impression you're in accounting.

I was in auditing for a year, frst job right after graduation... didn't like it, so switched to accounting and now into SAP Finance consultancy & support.
Teaching art part-time, may be a fun career after retirement next time ;)
